That was a huge help and I have finished my first foot already...took a few tries ;-) Now my toes aren't all pointing forward so this is going to look awesome when it's done!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05821560096129916530noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2670512544642905129.post-67533573846280455412019-03-18T12:26:23.225-05:002019-03-18T12:26:23.225-05:00I can try to help with out knowing exactly what is...I can try to help with out knowing exactly what issue you are having it will be a bit tough though.

This is all worked with the one strand of yarn no cuts, worked flat (ie not in rounds)--

The toe sections you start with a Ch of 4, that first chain by the hook is your turning chain - normally a ch 2 is used when doing HDC but for shaping reasons its just 1 chain - * You work 3 HDC across the chain (I like to work in the single loop on the back side. Chain 4 and repeat with HDC till you have 3 toes. 4th toe is worked with a ch 5, and working 4 HDC to make the 'heel' toe. Then you will slip stick into the first chain stitch of the first toe (which is now the bottom of the 3rd hdc)forming a cross shape.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/14ozzjs7ep7vc8q/dt.jpg?dl=0
Above is a chart diagram of the stitchs if that helps. Numbers show which toe is worked where.

Then to transition into the leg (start of working in rounds), it wants you to pick up 1 sc stitch on the side of each of the first 3 toes(I like to work through that middle bar in the stitch), and 2sc into the last (longer) heel toe. Ect.

Now if you have issues with the closing of the toes, just simply pinch one tow together like a hot dog bun, and stitch threw the outer most loop on both sides to cover the wire. You can work from one toe across to the next, or work each toe in order (this will require more stitching to work back down the closed toe if using one long strand).

Let me know if this doesnt address your issue!!
